Communications and connectivity firm EVAD looking to grow as they relocate creating new jobs

Communications company EVAD is looking to grow as it announces plans to relocate to Derby – bringing new jobs for the area.

The move will see the specialist communications and connectivity provider bring nearly 40 staff to the historic CUBO Derby building in Victoria Street offering enhanced flexible working solutions for all staff, while also expanding the team.

Chief executive Matt Hill, who has lived in Derby all of his life, said it was a great opportunity for the company to grow and an exciting time for the firm that prides itself on offering innovative solutions to businesses.

He said: “EVAD is having a growing impact in the East Midlands especially the Derby area and the move will allow us to develop and further enhance our offer.

Initially founded in 2011, EVAD is renowned for providing a personal customer service experience across all the solutions it offers. This includes independent, leading-edge telecoms, audio-video collaboration and conferencing, 5G Mobile and network services to businesses across the globe.

Recently the company, who are the official telecoms provider for Derbyshire County Cricket Club, has been instrumental in supporting the NHS with its Think Healthcare Package which will save hundreds of admin hours every year, making GP practices more efficient as well as supporting businesses in providing reliable and effective remote working solutions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the 22nd February EVAD will relocate from Burntwood, near Cannock, Staffordshire, and are currently looking to recruit two new tech helpdesk engineers who will help to deliver technical support and administration to our entire customer base.

There are also aspirations for further growth with the company keen to expand and harness the expertise and talent the region has to offer.
