Jarrang announce new appointments and team investment
Jarrang, the go-to independent email marketing specialists, have announced the appointment of one new senior team member, and one promotion within the team. Nick Crawford (above) has been hired as Head of Strategy, whilst James Cape has expanded his role to become Head of Partnerships, after the company bucked the trend and saw a significant period of growth in 2020.
Having worked with Jarrang for the past 12 months as a trainer and consultant, Nick brings extensive experience working with brands such as BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, and Travelodge (where he helped double their year-on-year email marketing revenue). Nick heads up the strategy side of the business from Northamptonshire, helping develop and expand innovative email marketing programmes for clients.
Previously Business Development Manager at Jarrang, James’s role has organically expanded to Head of Partnerships through his tenacious attitude to develop the agency’s relationships within the premium sector. Based in Surrey, he continues to drive business development, drawing on his wealth of experience in the creative sector.
In addition to the strengthening of the senior team, Jarrang has also invested in the professional development of other employees. Conor Wilson, Email Designer & Developer, has qualified as a Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, acknowledging his ability to use the Marketing Cloud platform at the highest level for the management of email marketing programmes for corporate clients. The accreditation, which crystalises Conor’s experience, allows Jarrang to further service clients with more specific needs.

Within the company, both Nick and James will continue to work alongside Stafford and the team to develop and deliver exceptional email marketing strategies to a number of clients in a variety of industries. The appointments complement investment in Jarrang’s marketing team with the addition of Sophie Kelly as a marketing consultant combined with the continual work of experienced copywriter Tommy Tonkins, and Florence Bate who leads the agency’s public relations strategy.
