One of Staffordshire and Cheshire’s leading HR specialists is planning on 30% growth as it marks its 10th year in business.
Innov8 Human Resources is looking to capitalise on its big birthday with a significant recruitment push and the delivery of new services designed to help SMEs, owner-managed businesses and multinationals navigate the complex ‘people’ environment exacerbated by government policy changes.
Formed by Rochelle Murinas in May 2016, the company has also just finalised its rebrand to DJH People & HR, following an acquisition that saw it become part of accountancy and professional services group DJH last year.
The partnership has already delivered numerous synergies with existing clients able to tap into specialist expertise across tax, audit, payroll, alongside the full suite of human resource support.
“This is the perfect time for us to write the next chapter of our story and an exciting move to rebrand as DJH People & HR. We are also aiming to post a record year to mark our 10th anniversary in business,” explained Rochelle, who recently became a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
“We’ve been working in Staffordshire and Cheshire for nearly a decade now and have long-standing clients in distribution, hair and beauty, manufacturing and professional services, delivering complete off or on-site support to firms, such as Unilathe Limited, Jackmark Engineering and Sandycroft Projects.”
She continued: “With the recent changes we have seen in employment rights and those that are tabled, the HR landscape is becoming increasingly complex. There’s no better time for firms to outsource their ‘people’ requirements – allowing them the time and capacity to do what they do best, which is manage their business.
“Our relationship with DJH has strengthened our geographic reach and opened up new markets for us, with clients from both organisations choosing to tap into a wider range of services under one roof.”
DJH People & HR, which is located at Lake View in Stoke-on-Trent, offers a remote or on-site HR service, including audits against legislative requirements, tailored consultancy to support business operations and strategic assistance with long-term people planning.
The firm also provides executive coaching to aid leadership development and, in today’s extremely competitive employment market, can support with strategies to engage and retain top talent.
A recent new service offering is systemic team coaching and mediation, which are key to ensuring that businesses continue to thrive in a difficult marketplace fraught with complex political, sociological and economic issues.
“There is an element of governance in the world of Employment Law, but we prefer to approach our clients in a bespoke way that ensures we meet both their obligations and, importantly, create a culture that helps their business thrive,” added Rochelle.
“We’ve worked with several companies – like Carter Electrical Services, Bennetts Architectural and Aluminium Solutions Limited – from the very beginning and you don’t hold those relationships for this long if you’re not adding value and working transparently.”
Scott Heath, CEO of DJH Group, concluded: “Acquiring Innov8 Human Resources last year was the perfect fit for our business, as we knew we could help Rochelle and the team to grow and take the next steps on their journey.
“Our clients now have the added bonus of being able to access the full suite of HR services and decades of collective knowledge on how to get the most out of their greatest asset – their people.”
